The best Beacons alternatives in 2026 (honest picks)

By The Pinned team · Updated October 18, 2026 · 8 min read

Full disclosure: I'm the founder of Pinned, and Pinned is one of these Beacons alternatives, so I'm biased. I'll still tell you when another tool fits better, including when the honest answer is to stay on Beacons.

The short answer: most people leave Beacons because of the 9% fee, because it does more than they need, or because it doesn't publish their posts. Stan is the pick for serious sellers, Linktree or Lnk.Bio for a simpler page, Carrd for a site you design yourself, and Pinned if you stream and want a post scheduler built in.

Why people look for Beacons alternatives

Start with what Beacons does well, because it's a lot. The free plan includes a store, a media kit that refreshes daily, 50 email sends a month, Instagram auto-DMs and AI tools. Few link in bio tools give that much away, and if you sell and pitch brands, it's hard to beat.

The usual reasons people move on:

  • The 9% fee. Every sale on Free and Creator pays 9%. The fee drops to 0% on Creator Plus, at $30/month or $300/year.
  • Branding. The Beacons branding stays on your page until Creator Plus, even if you pay for Creator.
  • A lot to learn. Websites, email, courses and daily AI credit limits are more than you need for a page of links.
  • No post scheduler. Beacons schedules links on your page but doesn't publish posts, so you still pay for a separate scheduler.
  • Branding in DMs. On Free and Creator, Smart Reply adds a "Sent with Beacons" line when opening DMs are on.
  • Little for streamers. Twitch appears as a follower count, and the feature table has no live badge or stream schedule.

1. Pinned

Mine
Best for
streamers who want their page and their posting in one tool
Price
Free plan; Creator $39/month or $390/year
Free plan
Yes, with the live badge and every theme

If what Beacons is missing for you is posting, that's the gap Pinned fills. Creator gives you a scheduler for up to 15 accounts on X, Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Discord, with a month calendar and a TweetDeck-style social board for notifications, upcoming posts and analytics. TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest are coming soon.

The page is built for streaming: a live badge that switches on when you go live on Twitch or Kick, a weekly stream schedule, events with add-to-calendar buttons and a Discord invite card. Creator also includes a media kit with six templates.

The catch, compared with Beacons, is big: Pinned has no store, tips, payments or email signups right now. If Beacons' store pays your bills, don't swap it for Pinned.

2. Stan

Best for
creators whose income is courses, coaching and memberships
Price
Creator $29/month or $300/year; Creator Pro $99/month or $948/year
Free plan
No, a 14-day free trial

Stan is where you go when selling is the whole point. Both plans charge 0% transaction fees, so you pay only Stripe or PayPal processing, and Creator already includes unlimited courses, a booking calendar, recurring subscriptions, lead magnets, a community and Instagram AutoDM.

Creator Pro adds the checkout tools that raise order value: upsells, order bumps, discount codes, payment plans with Afterpay and Klarna, funnels and affiliate management.

The catch: Stan Creator and Beacons Creator Plus both cost $300/year, so this move is about the store, not the price. There's no free plan, and I didn't see a media kit on Stan's plan list.

3. Linktree

Best for
a familiar, simple page with built-in scheduling
Price
Free plan; Starter $6, Pro $12, Premium $30 per month billed yearly
Free plan
Yes, with a 12% fee on product sales

Linktree is the simpler of the two big names. Pro, at $12/month billed yearly or $15 month to month, removes the footer for about half of what Beacons charges to drop its branding. It also has the post scheduler Beacons lacks: the Social Planner publishes to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts and Threads.

The catch: selling costs more on Linktree's lower plans. Its pricing table lists 12% on Free and 9% on Starter and Pro, and 0% needs Premium at $30/month billed yearly. Scheduled posts are capped at 50 a month on Pro.

4. Lnk.Bio

Best for
a no-fuss page you pay for once
Price
Free plan; Mini $9.99 one time; Unique $24.99 one time
Free plan
Yes, with Lnk.Bio branding

If Beacons felt like too much, Lnk.Bio is the opposite: a link in bio with lifetime pricing. Unique costs $24.99 once, removes the branding, and adds up to 10 pages, a shop and a scheduler that posts to Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky and YouTube. Mini is also sold monthly, at $0.99.

The catch: the shop takes 5% of each sale, so it won't fix a fee problem. I didn't see a media kit on its feature list, email signups go to newsletter tools through integrations, and connecting your own domain is a $39.99/year add-on.

5. Carrd

Best for
a personal site or landing page you design from scratch
Price
Free for 3 sites; Pro Lite $9/year; Pro Standard $19/year
Free plan
Yes, up to 3 sites with Carrd branding

Carrd is for people who want Beacons' website builder without the rest of Beacons. You start from a one-page canvas. Pro Standard, at $19/year, adds custom domains, signup forms that connect to tools like Kit, Klaviyo and Mailchimp, Stripe, PayPal and Gumroad widgets, embeds and analytics. Pro Lite, at $9/year, removes the branding.

The catch: nothing updates itself. Carrd's plan list has no media kit, social stats or scheduler, so you build and maintain the page by hand.

My pick

If you sell, think hard before leaving Beacons at all. Its free plan does more than most paid plans. If the 9% fee is the problem, do the math: once your yearly sales pass $3,334, Creator Plus at $300/year costs less than the fee. If you want a store-first checkout with upsells and funnels, Stan is the upgrade.

If you want less, pick Linktree or Lnk.Bio: Linktree if you also want TikTok scheduling, Lnk.Bio if you never want another monthly bill.

If you stream, I'd pick Pinned, with my bias noted. You trade Beacons' store and email for a live badge, a stream schedule and a scheduler, so it works best if you don't sell from your bio yet.

What I'd do today

  1. Add up last year's Beacons sales and the 9% you paid. If the fee came to more than $300, price out Creator Plus before you move.
  2. List what you use every week: the store, email, the media kit, Smart Reply. Anything you'd lose filters your shortlist.
  3. Export your audience contacts first. Beacons' pricing table lists imports and exports on every plan.
  4. Build your new page on a free plan (Pinned, Linktree, Lnk.Bio and Carrd all have one; Stan has a 14-day trial) and change your bio link only when it's ready.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Beacons alternative for selling digital products?

Stan is the strongest pick for selling. It charges 0% transaction fees on both plans, $29/month or $300/year for Creator and $99/month or $948/year for Creator Pro, and Creator Pro adds upsells, order bumps, payment plans and funnels. Linktree also sells digital products and courses, with 0% Linktree fees only on Premium. Pinned doesn't sell anything today.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Beacons?

For a page without branding, yes. Lnk.Bio Unique costs $24.99 one time, Carrd Pro Lite is $9/year, and Linktree Pro is $12/month billed yearly. Beacons removes its branding on Creator Plus, at $25/month billed yearly. None of these cheaper options match Beacons' free store, media kit and email tools, so compare them on what you actually use.

Which Beacons alternative can schedule social media posts?

Pinned's Creator plan schedules posts to X, Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Discord, with TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest coming soon. Linktree's Social Planner posts to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts and Threads. Lnk.Bio Unique includes a scheduler for Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky and YouTube. Beacons itself only schedules links on your page.

Will I lose my email list if I leave Beacons?

You shouldn't. Beacons' pricing table lists audience imports and exports on every plan, so export your contacts before you switch. Where they go next matters: Pinned doesn't collect email signups or send email itself, so you'd keep the list in an email tool like Klaviyo or Mailchimp. Stan collects emails through lead magnets on its Creator plan.
