Connect your Twitch or Kick channel so your Link in Bio page can show your stream while you're live. Do this once, and your page updates itself whenever you go live.

What each connection does

  • Twitch: your page shows your live stream while you're live. Twitch also adds channel stats to the Analytics page and the Media Kit.
  • Kick: your page shows your live stream while you're live.

When you're not streaming, your page doesn't show a stream. Pinned checks your channel's live status about once a minute, so the stream can take a short while to appear after you go live.

For a stream schedule and a go-live banner, see Show your stream schedule and go-live banner.

Connect Twitch

  1. In the sidebar, click Connections. You can also open Connections directly.

  2. Under Social integrations, find the Twitch card.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. Sign in to Twitch and approve the request. The button reads Authorizing… while Pinned sends you to Twitch.

  5. Back on the Connections page, check the Twitch card. It now says Connected, followed by your channel name.

The channel comes from the Twitch account you signed in with. Once you're connected this way, the card also mentions channel stats on the Analytics page. Your follower count appears there, and your subscriber count appears only if Twitch provides it for your channel. To see where those stats show up, read Track your analytics.

Connect Kick

  1. In the sidebar, click Connections.

  2. Under Social integrations, find the Kick card.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. Sign in to Kick and approve the request. The button reads Authorizing… while Pinned sends you to Kick.

  5. Back on the Connections page, check the Kick card. It now says Connected, followed by your channel name.

Connect by typing your channel instead

If Pinned can't offer sign-in for a platform, clicking Connect opens a field where you type your channel instead. The steps are the same for both platforms.

  1. On the Twitch or Kick card, click Connect.
  2. Click the field and type your channel. The hint reads "Your Twitch username or twitch.tv link" on Twitch, and "Your Kick username or kick.com link" on Kick. You can enter a plain username, a username with @ in front, or a link to your channel.
  3. Click Save. The button reads Checking… while Pinned confirms the channel exists.
  4. To back out, click Cancel.

A Twitch channel name uses 3 to 25 letters, numbers or underscores. A Kick channel name uses 3 to 35 letters, numbers, underscores or hyphens.

Change or remove a connection

What you see depends on how you connected.

After you disconnect Twitch, your page no longer shows your Twitch stream, and Twitch stats stop appearing on the Analytics page.

Troubleshooting

Couldn't verify that Twitch channel. Try again.

Pinned couldn't find a channel with that name. Check the spelling, or paste the full link to your channel, then click Save again. Kick shows the same message with its own name: Couldn't verify that Kick channel. Try again.

Couldn't start the Twitch authorization. Try again.

Pinned couldn't open Twitch's sign-in. Click Connect again. If it keeps failing, write to support@pinned.gg. Kick has a matching message that starts with Couldn't start the Kick authorization.

The page says the account is already connected to a different Pinned account

That Twitch or Kick account is linked to another Pinned account, perhaps an old one of yours. Log in to that account and remove the connection there, or open a request from the Support page and ask Pinned to release it. For help with requests, see Get help from Pinned support.

Your stream doesn't show on your page

Your page shows the stream only while you're live, and the live status can take about a minute to update. Check that the channel on the card is the one you stream from. If it's wrong, switch channels as described above.
