Note
Available on the Business plan.
Before you start
- Set up a language model for your agents. See Connect your own AI model.
- Connect the accounts you post to on Connections. Drafts for platforms you haven't connected are still written, but you copy those by hand. See Connect your social accounts.
Open the Social Media Assistant
- In the sidebar, under Automation, click Agents.
- Click the Social Media Assistant tab. Its tasks appear as cards, each with a Run button.
When a run finishes, the results land on the run page. See Run and schedule agent tasks for run statuses and what each button on a result does.
Turn an article into a week of posts
Content Repurposer turns one source into posts for your platforms: one post a day for a week, in open slots on your calendar.
- On the Content Repurposer card, click Run.
- Under Source, choose where the material comes from:
- SEO article: pick one from the Article list. This option is greyed out until you have articles in the SEO Tool.
- URL: paste the page address.
- Pasted text: add an optional Title (optional), then paste the material into Text. It needs at least a paragraph (40 or more characters).
- Under Platforms, tick the platforms you want: X / Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook and Bluesky. Platforms you haven't connected are marked "copy only".
- Set the Start date. It is tomorrow by default.
- Optionally, write what you want in Brief (optional): what to cover, offers, links, what to avoid. It takes up to 4,000 characters.
- Click Run now.
You get an X thread, a LinkedIn post, an Instagram caption with a slide-by-slide script, TikTok opening lines, and short posts for Threads, Facebook and Bluesky, depending on what you ticked. Instagram and TikTok posts need media added before they can be scheduled.
Plan a launch campaign
Calendar Planner builds a teaser, launch and follow-up campaign around a date. It plans up to 14 posts and places them in open slots so no two share a time.
- On the Calendar Planner card, click Run.
- In Goal, describe what you're launching.
- Pick the Launch date. It must be at least 3 days away. Teasers start a few days before and follow-ups run up to a week after.
- Under Platforms, tick where to post.
- Optionally, add Notes (optional) such as price, key dates or what to avoid, and a Brief (optional).
- Click Run now.
Each post carries its phase (Teaser, Launch or Follow-up) and, where it helps, an idea for the image or clip. The proposed posts also show on your Calendar. See Plan with the content calendar.
Draft a set number of posts
Post Series drafts a number of posts across dates you choose, at your usual posting times.
- On the Post Series card, click Run.
- Enter how many Posts you want, from 1 to 20.
- Pick the First day and the Last day. The window can be up to 90 days.
- Under How often, choose Spread evenly, Daily, Weekdays, Every other day, Twice a week or Weekly.
- Tick your Platforms, optionally add a Brief (optional), then click Draft posts.
Teach the assistant your voice
Brand Voice learns how you write from your posts, your SEO articles and any samples you paste. Your other tasks then write in that voice.
- On the Brand Voice card, click Run.
- Optionally, paste posts you're proud of into Samples (optional), separated by blank lines.
- Click Learn my voice.
Brand Voice needs 8 texts in all. If you have fewer, the run stops and tells you how many more posts to paste. Very short texts, such as a bare link or a single emoji, don't count.
To keep your voice profile fresh, turn on the Schedule switch on the card. It can run at most weekly.
Check a draft against your voice
Once Brand Voice has learned from enough of your writing, Voice check scores any draft against it. Nothing you paste is stored.
- Scroll down to the Voice check box.
- Paste a post or caption into the box. It takes up to 4,000 characters.
- Click Check voice.
You get a score out of 100, a Works list, an Off-voice list and a Rewrite in your voice. Click Copy to copy the rewrite.
Until a voice profile exists, the box is greyed out and tells you to run Brand Voice first.
Answer your community
Community Manager drafts replies to X mentions and DMs, Facebook Page comments and YouTube comments. It doesn't include Instagram comments yet. Connect at least one of those accounts first.
- On the Community Manager card, click Run. It has no form and starts right away.
- When the run finishes, open it. Each notification has a drafted reply.
- Review each draft. On X and YouTube you can send the reply from Pinned. X DMs and Facebook comments can't be answered from Pinned, so copy the draft and reply on the platform.
- Dismiss any you don't want to answer.
Spam is filtered out and doesn't appear as a draft. Notifications you've already seen aren't drafted again, and very old comments aren't included. To check for new ones on a schedule, turn on the Schedule switch on the card. It can run as often as every hour.
Set up the optional auto-reply
Auto-reply is off by default. You turn it on in Agent settings on the Agents page. When it's on, Community Manager sends a short thank-you on its own, only when all of these are true:
- The notification is a plain X mention: short, with no link, no question and no more than one @.
- The draft is a simple thank-you the assistant is very confident about.
- You haven't already auto-replied to the same person in the last 24 hours.
What goes out is your own fixed thank-you template, not the drafted text. If you haven't set one, it sends "Thank you! Really appreciate it 🙏". Replies sent this way are labeled "Auto-sent".
You control the limits. It sends 1 to 5 per run (3 by default) and 1 to 50 per day (20 by default). Everything else waits for you to send it.
Tips
- Manual runs are limited to 15 a day, and each run takes about two minutes.
- Use Content profile on the Agents page to set words to avoid, hashtags, examples and calls to action that every agent follows in this workspace.
- If a post draft is over a platform's character limit, the run adds a note to trim it before scheduling.
Troubleshooting
The Voice check box is greyed out
Brand Voice hasn't learned from enough texts yet. Run it again with a few of your best posts pasted into Samples (optional).
The form says "Pick a launch date at least 3 days out"
Calendar Planner needs time for teasers. Choose a later Launch date.
The form says "Pick at least one platform"
Tick at least one box under Platforms and click the run button again.
The form says "Paste at least a paragraph (40+ characters)"
Content Repurposer needs more to work from. Add more text under Text, or switch to URL.
The SEO article option is greyed out
Content Repurposer can pick from your articles only when the SEO Tool has some. Use URL or Pasted text instead.
The form says "Keep it to 90 days or fewer"
Post Series spreads posts over at most 90 days. Move the Last day closer to the First day.
Community Manager says "Nothing new to answer"
There are no new mentions, messages or comments since the last run, or the ones found were spam. Run it again later.
