Home is the page you land on after signing in, and the side menu takes you to everything else. This guide shows what each part does and how to set Home up the way you work.
Read your Home page
At the top of Home, a greeting reads Welcome on your first visit and Welcome back after that, followed by your name. Under it, Here's what's happening with your creator brand. is followed by the name of your layout, for example Business preset. Once you change the layout by hand, it reads Custom layout. On the Free plan's default layout, no layout name shows. When you select a workspace, the line names that workspace instead.
On the right you see the Workspace label with the workspace switcher, and the Customize button. In the top bar, View my page opens your public page, and the round icon button switches between light and dark mode.
Below the header, Home is a grid of widgets. Each one narrows to the workspace you have selected. A widget's card can carry a slightly different title from its name in the table. For example, Social analytics appears as Social accounts.
| Widget | What it shows | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Getting started | The setup checklist, until you dismiss it | Every plan |
| Your page | Your pinned.gg page at a glance, with its link to copy and share | Every plan |
| Try Creator | What the Creator plan adds, with its free trial. Hidden on a paid plan | Free |
| Content calendar | This month's posts. On Business it also shows email campaigns and blog posts | Creator and Business |
| Upcoming posts | The next posts due to go out, soonest first | Creator and Business |
| Upcoming events | Your next events from the Events element on your page | Creator and Business |
| Link in bio analytics | Page views, link clicks and click-through for the last 30 days | Creator and Business |
| Social analytics | Followers and post counts for your connected accounts | Creator and Business |
| SEO analytics | Search and AI visibility figures from the SEO Tool, for the last 28 days | Business |
| Agents | Your agents' control panel, with an Ask your agents box for requesting a task | Business |
| Email campaigns | Campaigns scheduled to send, and drafts waiting | Business |
| Shortcuts | Quick links to every part of Pinned | Every plan |
Most widgets have a link in their top corner, such as Open calendar →, All posts →, Analytics →, SEO Tool →, Agents → and Campaigns →. Use it to open the full page. Click a post in Upcoming posts to edit it. If a scheduled post has failed, Upcoming posts says so and points you to the Scheduled Posts page.
A widget that needs a higher plan stays on Home, locked, until your plan covers it. Locked tiles in Shortcuts open an upgrade dialog when you click them.
Work through the getting-started checklist
New accounts see a card at the top of Home titled Get set up. It counts your progress, for example 0 of 5 complete, and shows a bar with one segment per step. The steps depend on your plan, and most check themselves off:
| Plan | Step | When it completes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Add your socials | Your published page has at least one social button with an address |
| Free | Add a link | Your published page has an enabled link with a valid address |
| Free | Show when you're live | Your page shows a live banner with a Twitch or Kick channel, or you click Skip |
| Free | Publish your page | Your page is published |
| Free | Share your link | You click Copy link, which copies your page address. The button appears once your page is published |
| Business | Confirm your account settings | You click Open settings |
| Creator and Business | Connect your social media accounts | At least one account is connected on the Connections page |
| Creator and Business | Create your link-in-bio page | You click Open editor, or your page is published |
| Creator and Business | Schedule your first post | You click Create a post, or you have made a post |
| Business | Create your first email campaign | You have a campaign, or you click Skip or Open campaigns |
Free accounts see five steps, Creator accounts see three, and Business accounts see five.
Completed steps turn grey with a check mark. When every step is done, a Dismiss checklist button appears. You can also close the card at any time with the X icon in its top right corner. Once you dismiss it, it does not come back.
The checklist always sits at the top of Home, above the other widgets.
Customize your Home page
You choose which widgets show, in what order and at what size. Each workspace keeps its own layout, and changes save as you make them.
On Home, click Customize.
Under Preset, pick a starting point: Free, Creator, Business, Team or Everything. The preset marked · default here is what the current workspace starts with. Your own space starts on the preset for your plan, and a workspace starts on Business. Picking a preset replaces your current layout.
Under Widgets, top to bottom, change each widget:
- Use the size menu to choose Small, Half, Wide or Full width.
- Click the up or down arrow icon to move the widget.
- Click the X icon to remove it from the dashboard.
- On Link in bio analytics, SEO analytics and Agents, click the metric buttons to turn figures on or off. A check mark means the figure is shown, and a plus sign means it is hidden.
To bring back a removed widget, click Add a widget (4 more). Your number may differ, because it counts the widgets not on your dashboard. Then click the widget you want. Click Cancel to close the list.
Click Done, or the X icon in the top right corner of the dialog.
After you edit by hand, the dialog notes that the layout has been edited by hand and that picking a preset replaces it. To go back to the workspace's default, click Reset.
The dialog also lists which widgets need a plan: the calendar, upcoming posts, events and analytics need Creator, and SEO, agents and campaigns need Business. They stay on your dashboard, locked, until your plan covers them.
If you remove every widget, Home shows An empty dashboard with a Customize button so you can add widgets or pick a preset.
Switch workspaces
The workspace switcher is at the top of the side menu and next to Customize on Home. It starts on Personal (all accounts). Any workspaces you own or have joined are listed below it. + New workspace… starts a new one. Pages across the dashboard, including Home, narrow to the workspace you pick.
Workspaces are on the Business plan. On other plans, + New workspace… opens an upgrade prompt. To set up and share workspaces, see Work with workspaces and teams.
Use the side menu
The side menu is on the left of every dashboard page. Home and Link in Bio come first. Then the sections:
| Section | Items |
|---|---|
| Social Media | Create a Post, Scheduled, Social Board, Calendar |
| Marketing | Media Kit, Campaigns, SEO Tool, Analytics |
| Automation | Agents |
| Account | Connections, API & MCP, Support, Settings |
Each section lists only the tools your plan includes. The rest wait in a folded section marked with a lock icon and More tools, followed by a count. Click it to open the list. When you click an item inside, an upgrade dialog opens instead of the page. The Social Media items, Media Kit and Analytics need Creator. Campaigns, SEO Tool and Agents need Business. See Choose a plan and upgrade.
Below the sections are three more links:
- My page opens your public page in a new tab.
- Help Center opens these guides in a new tab.
- Join our Discord opens the Pinned community on Discord.
To make more room, click the panel icon at the top of the menu to collapse it to icons. Hover over an icon to see its name. Click the panel icon again to expand the menu. Pinned remembers your choice. While the menu is collapsed, the workspace switcher is hidden.
Use the account menu
The account menu is at the bottom of the side menu. It shows your name and plan, for example Business plan.
At the bottom of the side menu, click your name or picture.
Choose what you need:
- Click another account listed there to switch to it. Accounts appear when you are signed in to more than one on this device.
- Click Add account to sign in to another account.
- Click Account settings to open your settings. See Update your account settings.
- Click Log out to sign out. If you are signed in to several accounts, this reads Log out of all accounts.
Switch between light and dark mode
In the top bar, click the round icon button on the left. In light mode, its tooltip reads Dark mode. You can also choose Dark or Light in your account settings.
